Exmoor Youth Project is a charity founded and run by the Churches in the Exmoor AND wEST sOMERSET area. Rooted in our Christian values, we hope to enable every child and young person to grow as whole people in body, soul and spirit.
Lynne Barton - Children and families Worker
Lynne joined the project team in August 2016. She worships at St Andrews (Minehead) where she has also played a large part in the children and families team for over a decade. Lynne leads the children's work across all of the first schools, providing regular collective worship, assemblies, lunch clubs, RE support and also does a lot of Church-link work, as well as holiday clubs and fun days.
Lynne loves working for EYP and is looking forward to what the future holds
Jess James
Jess worked for the Exmoor Youth Project from Sept 2012 - Aug 2023.
"I absolutely loved my job with EYP over the past 11 years-I have had so much fun- it's not often you get to do a job you adore, but I have had the absolute privilege of doing so! I have met the most wonderful people throughout my time here and have loved getting to know and work with all the local schools. It has been such a huge blessing and the project will always be a big part of me. Lots of prayers for Lynne and the project as it embarks on this next chapter"' Jess x
After 11 years working for the project, Jess felt called to a change and has now gone to work as a Community Outreach Worker in Watchet and Williton, for the West Somerset Methodist Circuit
